Co-production Week Scotland was held 27th Nov - 3rd Dec 2017 and was a chance to talk about how co-production, a way for people who use services and people who run them to work together, is shaping up in Scotland.

Now in its second year, the week brought together a series of events, blogs and activity from the more than 1,000 members of the Scottish Co-production Network, who organised the week.

The focus this year was on the theme of "power".  Network members were asked:

  • How can we address power imbalance through co-production?
  • What are the barriers that inequality of power brings?
  • How do we ensure power is shared equally

Participatory budgeting (PB) was part of the week, with blogs from PB Champions who outlined their PB activity and how co-productive approaches are key to creating more meaningful community participation.

You can can catch up on all the content produced throughout the week at the Scottish Co-production Network website, here.
