Mainstreaming Participatory Budgeting: Awareness Raising/Training Events, Nov-Dec

For Participatory Budgeting to become established as a meaningful and sustainable mechanism for resource allocation, and improved real life outcomes for individuals and communities, PB needs to focus on the design and delivery of services, both within LA areas and among partner organisations.

These SIX awareness-raising/training events, organised by PB Partners are designed to:

  • Create greater awareness of PB opportunities within LA areas, and among partner organisations

  • Give elected members/senior decision makers the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of possible PB options going forward

  • Provide a ‘hands-on’ opportunity for officers involved in delivery to work on developing PB plans
